# Mounting

In case the A6K-Lite camera was purchased as a stand-alone or upgrade accessory (without Phoenix NavBox), you will be mounting the camera yourself. 

It must be noted that the ¼”-20 screw (shown on the left below) should be installed with Loctite threadlocker #243 and **tightened only finger-tight** without applying too much force as this might damage the camera housing. The entire camera will be safely secured via the lens bracket (shown on the right below) and the 1/4" thread is mainly used for alignment purposes only.

Please note that each system needs a new **boresight (calibration) flight** whenever the camera is remounted. Refer to [Boresighting Flight Strategy](/data-acquisition-and-uav-piloting/boresighting-flight-strategy.md) for more info on boresight flights.
