# Importing GNSS Reference Stations

{% hint style="info" %}
This step is only necessary for customers who are processing their trajectory in SpatialExplorer using NavLab Cloud or NavLab Embedded. If you process trajectories in InertialExplorer or interact with LiDARMill through a web browser, this step is not necessary for you!
{% endhint %}

GNSS Reference Station observations are used to perform Post-Processed Kinematic (PPK) GNSS data corrections, which is widely used in surveying and mapping to obtain high-precision positioning data or centimeter-level accuracy.

To upload a reference station file, click on **Reference Stations** under the SpatialExplorer Project window, then click on the folder icon at the bottom left next to **Tools** and then navigate to your reference station data.

{% hint style="info" %}
Many different reference station file formats can be uploaded (T02, T04, DAT to name a few). If you have an issue uploading your reference station data, consider converting to RINEX and then reuploading.
