## Create Contours

To create contours, click on the Edit tab after clicking on the desired pointcloud. Click on the **Create Contours** Tool:

Specify the following:

* Grid Size \[m]
* Minimum Altitude \[m]
* Maximum Altitude \[m]
* Altitude Step \[m]
* Hole Filling Radius \[m]
* Classification(s) to use to generate contours

Contour name will be populated within the Project window under **Geometry**.

To export desired contours, find the name under **Geometry** and click on it. Then click on the **Save Geometry** tool button to save contours to a file. Available export file formats are SHP and KML.

## DTM Mesh

To create a DTM Mesh, click on the Create... drowndown under the [pointcloud "Edit" tab](https://docs.phoenixlidar.com/lidarmill-desktop/user-interface/windows/project-management-window/point-clouds#edit) and lick on **DTM Mesh**:

Specify the following DTM creation parameters:

* Pixel Size (m)
* Enable/Disable "Use Delaunay (Fill Holes)
  * Min Hole Size (If "Use Delaunay (Fill Holes)" disabled)
* Point Classes
* Click "OK" to generate DTM
