# Manually Split Intervals

Alternatively, the [**Measurements**](https://docs.phoenixlidar.com/lidarmill-desktop/user-interface/windows/measurements-window) window [**POS**](https://docs.phoenixlidar.com/lidarmill-desktop/user-interface/windows/measurements-window/position) button can be used to manually specify the beginning and end of an interval. Click **POS**, then proceed to left click on the start and end of each desired interval.

Click on **Intervals** within the project window and then click on the eye dropper icon at the bottom left to create intervals from measurements:

Specify a name for the Interval list (Example: Manually Split Intervals) and click **OK.** Click on the specified interval list name to visualize intervals:
