# Mobile Colorization Using Ladybug Imagery

When first opening a PLP file referencing Ladybug imagery, SpatialExplorer will ask you to create masks for each of the six receptors. You can also go to **Camera Settings-> Processing->Tools->Edit Receptor Masks** to access this menu:

Draw the mask so that it excludes the vehicle or any mounting hardware. Only areas in green will be used during processing.

The Ladybug's mounting rotations need to be calibrated for every data set - refer to CameraSnap. Also ensure that you **Load factory calibration for ladybug**, which loads receptor specific calibration for each camera on the Ladybug.&#x20;

Once calibration of the camera is complete, you can proceed with colorization. With mobile data sets, it may improve colorization to apply a **Min photo distance**, which will help prevent colorizing the point cloud with shadows.
