# Camera Calibration

**CameraSnap** enables the user to precisely calibrate camera mounting rotations (IMU->Camera rotations), receptor and lens intrinsics, and even calibrate the pose of an individual image. The amount and types of calibration required depends on the data set. Aerial data sets may not require calibrating camera mounting rotations, but may benefit from individual image pose correction. Mobile data sets, on the otherhand, almost always require mounting rotations to be calibrated, as the camera is typically removed from the vehicle (and thus removed from the IMU) after each collection.

In any case, **CameraSnap** can be found at **Camera Settings->Processing->Tools->Calibrate sensor automatically**.
